Family Health Practice at AISD

The FHP is a primary care clinic staffed by internationally trained medical personnel. Located within the campus of the American International School in Baridhara, the clinic is open to all members of the wider community in Dhaka.

  • Antenatal and postnatal care

  • Childhood developmental checks and immunizations

  • Gynaecological/cervical screening

  • Sexual health services

  • Pre-employment and pre-school medical examinations and certification

  • Seasonal flu vaccination

  • Laboratory investigations including testing of blood, urine and stool samples amongst others

  • Referral to physiotherapists, counselors and other auxiliary healthcare providers

  • Referral to secondary care services within Bangladesh or regionally

Sunday - Thursday

8:00 AM to 12:00 PM

and

12:30 PM to 4:30 PM

The Physician will not be available for appointments from 08:00 until 12:30 on Tuesdays

Fees and Payment

 

Consultation fees with Family Physician:

Other fees and services:

 

Vaccine administration per visit                                                                                                                           BDT  2,000

Full medical with certification (excluding lab tests)                                                                                          BDT 24,000

Certification of passport or legal documentation; additional reports for insurance companies              BDT 5,000

 

 

Please note that consultations requiring an extended appointment should be booked as a double appointment and will be charged as such. Examples of consultations requiring a double appointment are:

 

  • pre-employment or pre-school medicals

  • first antenatal appointments (at 8-10 weeks)

  • initial newborn baby checks

  • initial psychiatric assessments

 

 

A 3,500 Taka no-show fee will be charged to patients who fail to attend their appointments without giving prior warning.

 

Payment must be completed at the time of consultation and may be made in cash or by Visa card. Card payments incur a 1.27% charge. Unfortunately, we are unable to accept American Express cards.
